General Information

Jenner’s Kids Daycare Center is licensed by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services and operates Monday through Friday. The license is posted in the entranceway of each center. The laws and rules are available at the center. The center’s licensing record, including compliance report forms and evaluation forms from the health, building, and fire departments are available upon request. The license capacity for each age category of the center is stated on the license. Each center’s operating hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. Parents who pick up their child after 6:00 p.m. will be assessed a late fee of $5.00 for any portion of the first five minutes and $1.00 per minute thereafter. We are closed on Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the Friday following Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. We will close by 1:00pm on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Full tuition will be charged during these weeks.

At Jenner’s Kids, we have an open-door policy. Please feel free to visit the center at any time. Many times when children are new to the center, they will be uneasy and anxious when you drop them off in the morning. Please feel free to call us or come by the center and check on them anytime throughout the day.

Upon arrival the child must be accompanied into the building by an adult and signed in on the attendance sheet. Each center also has a notebook near the sign-in clipboard; please write any pertinent information for management to read that day. For example, if your child has a doctor’s appointment and will be picked up early, or any notification of future vacations, etc.

Upon departure, the parent signs the child out on the attendance clipboard, and picks up the child from the proper classroom. This allows the parent to observe the classrooms, communicate with the staff, and pick up any items that need to go home. Only a parent, legal guardian, or person authorized on file will be permitted to pick up your child.

If you have a child in the infant or toddler room, please pick them up first and then proceed to pick up your older child. The Missouri Department of Health has requested this in order to keep the nursery as clean and sanitary as possible, and to protect the babies from any unforeseen accidents.
